North Shore Bus Lanes closed? 14/12/2009

I was riding past Constellation drive this morning around 7am, and I see the Police have closed the bus lane between Constellation Drive and Takapuna.

They look like they have put up a tent near the constellation end, and trucks were blocking the entrance to the bus lane at both ends.

I can only assume someone has been seriously injured.

I had a look on Stuff. No wonder I couldn't find it with that headline.

I suspect their might be more to the story with the Police erecting a tent. They obviously need to preserve something against the weather.

i would say that it looks like someone has jumped off the bridge or tired to cross the lane and got hit.
