Fucking hell.....

Been working on my childrens book project for over a year now (even some of you fine people contributed gawd bless ya)

Anyway, have had loads of delays to the final date with one thing or another. Then I managed to secure some interest with an Aussie publishing house and it all looked very promising....

.....until today when I recevied an email telling me that the project 'does not fit with their current demographic model for the NZ market'

The bastards could have told me all this months ago when I submitted the first draft, but they strung me along, gits....

Glad I have all my work copywrited, at least they cant nick the idea.

So, a fucking years work down the drain, thanks a bunch you bastards.....:mad:

Thanks to those who helped me with the book stuff, you know who you are

Rant over, christmas is coming, tomorrow is a new day.....

I'm gonna have a beer.....

I might be able to photocopy a couple of A4 pages a day at work. Wont take that long to get a book sorted :dodge:

A setback, that's all it is I suppose once you look at it in the cold light of day.

I'll have another crack next year, its just annoying when they could have told me all this back in July rather than 3 edited scripts later...

Still, minor glitch in the big scheme of things, a lot worse is happening out there in the world....

Mate, I have not given up so the Mushless will still roll...just have to re-group and get on.
