I have a one week window when my ex has our kids (my boys live fulltime with me) and so I will drop them off at my ex at 4pm on 24/12, drive back home and jump on the bike and take off!
There is only a vague plan:
- Leave HB on 24/12 at 5pm
- Visit Super Maori Fullas up north.
- Be back for when the boys come back home 31/12 at 4pm.
I have a working bike, money for petrol, and 167 hours to my self. I will sleep as little as possible and stay sober most of the time so I can ride. Apart from that it is me and the road!
What about you? What is your Xmas riding agenda?

Live vicariously through reading about everyone else's adventures and fun as I won't be able to participate in any 2 wheeled excitement for a few months :crybaby:
Look forward to lots of reading!

My daughter is working at Rhythm and Vines,so it seems we are going down to stay at a friends place and babysit.I was hoping to take the bike and visit Conquistador....but he might not be at home.I have run out of tyres,I don't think I'll get there and back.Maybe I'll opt out and ride around here and wear my tyres out.

When are you gonna be down here? I had a small thought of passing by Hammy and see if I would be able to come and say hi. Will also try to catch up with Rusty while in Auckland. As this trip is me doing what I want to do.

I guess we'll be down there from 29 to 1st.Rusty will most likely drop in here Xmas day coming back from Hams.If you are going up to see him,I'll come too - it will be a shift in his reality to be visited by two BMW's.

Did the Taupo Loop today (far more fun on the SV than it ever was on the Hyo - yeee haa!!) Also riding to Tauranga for Christmas to spend with my folks, shortly after that looking at going camping so will probably end up out in the wops somewhere camped out beside some random road no one's ever heard of or ridden on before.
Should be fun. :scooter:
