Got one myself, first time ive ever played about with such things and the thing is just so easy to use even for a gadget dummy like myself. What i am struggling with is putting it onto the likes of Youtube,2 hours to upload a 1 minute test clip:shit:Didnt bother attempting to upload any onboard bike stuff after that.Any idea what i am doing wrong?Oh and when i say gadget dummy i include computers<_<.

What sort of internet connection do you have? Broadband, maybe i need to download a movie maker thingy and have a gander, people talk about compressing etc, what ever that means, cant imagine i would need to compress a one minute video.Might try uploading direct to youtube from minidv instead of first putting it on my puter.Bit stumped to be honest.:bash:

You don't have to know what they mean - just match the settings.

Cheers Dave, managed to speed up the upload time to just a couple of minutes but quality turned to shite, will sort it re that link ta.Fwiw see what i mean about quality.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dipuQmFIVgM While i remember,i hooked the mini dv up on the fairing with the velcro/sticky stuff and clip on attatchment, worked ok but anything over 120kph the wind made it point skyward on the swivel, not wanting to drill holes in anything to use the attatchment with screws i think good old duct tape will be the answer, tried it with the jacket attachment but same deal once speeds got up it blew it around to much.

Use AutoGK for encoding the file to a suitable size before uploading.

Try a 5 minute clip, encode it to 50MB (or less, whatever floats your boat), upload it and see how she looks.

AutoGK is the most strait forward tool for someone who doesn't know what they are doing.
