Hey, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place.

Has anyone got any suggestions about how i can insure my unregistered bikes in my garage? my race bike and all my parts and stuff.
My house insurer doesn't want to know.

John Baker insurance will sort you out mate.
He will even insure your race bike in transit too.

He would insure it for racing if you ask but you had better be sat down when he tells you. Saying that though I think it would of cost less than the repair bill I'm going to get!!!

Also I did Kiwibike insurance as I needed insuranceon my 600 for finance

Dave at kiwibike sorted cover for all my unreged bikes for theft fire and transit (which i hadn't thought of) !

will they cover the extra shit. (shocks, forks, timers ect ect??) assuming its firmly bolted to the bike?

Ive got gear on my bike worth about 2x3 times the value of the bike??

Mate I told them everything and they wanted to know prices they were really really really helpful

I am confident that anything is possible at a price, and that Kiwibike will be very competitive.

Also try NAC Insurance - I have my Race Bike insured with them. Coverage is for Fire and Theft anywhere in NZ as long as you keep it secured (this is not accident damage so not covered for damage when being ridden).

NAC have stopped doing it I rangthem as they7 do my "boy racer" car insurance and they said they do not do new insurance policys for race bikes which was a bummer but ah well

Kiwibike is were its at for me very very easy to deal with and a very very sharp price and if your a VMCC member you also get a discount as well :yes:
