Does he own a bike?
Does he ride it, if he does?
Or is he joined at the hip to his computer???
Early reports are coming in that a well known member of KiwiBiker, who proclaims he is a Database Manager and part-time scribbler for a bike mag is currently clinically insane, due to the fact that he can no longer ride his Suzuki SV650S K1 within the boundries of London, England due to some historic bylaw banning middle aged males from riding Japanese motorcycles in London.
The individual in question, Bob, was quoted in saying "Uzbekistan has banned motorbikes from the capital Tashkent and other big cities. “This has been done for the safety of road traffic and for citizens’ peace and quiet. So there’s less noise,” and to his surprise was handed a notice from the Council prohibiting the use of his Suzuki within London.
As a result of the imposed restrictions put in place from the London Council, Bob has resorted in political hijacking of motorcycle chat forums to share his plight with other riders around the world. As a result this Eagle Scout of the web has his neighbourhood concerned. They are able to contact him via the internet, but since the Council served the notice, Bob has not been seen in public. Health authorites are considering what action is best taken.

On ya Bob! :niceone:

Boy, you really WERE bored, weren't you?

:whocares:

"Does he own a bike?" - yup, there is a photo of it on the site, y'know
"Does he ride it, if he does?" - about 6/7,000 miles a year on average
"Or is he joined at the hip to his computer???" - no, just VERY efficient
"currently clinically insane" - takes one to know one, sunshine, takes one to know one...

I think it was Honda kind of joking, (in tribute to you), and sort of referencing that 'sting' thread that you posted. I think.
I think it was an affectionate PT.

*note to self: stop thinking*

Don't worry, I knew it was (Honda was decent enough to PM me to say he was putting something up). Just thought I should "Put the record straight" in true "Press release in response to allegations" style...

That sting was pretty impressive though :Punk:

It had nothing to do with a single thread of Bob's. Just a general piss take after noticing how many threads are started by Bob. I just looked through Bob's threads to see what I could use. Yea I know, I was bored and thought it might be funny :bs: :wait: :puke:

And as for being seen in public, care to join me on a ride sometime? When I've fixed my bikes??

Really should sort something, as you're not all that far from me if I remember rightly (You're on the Sarf side of the water, aren't you? I'm from the civilised north).

That said, I'm not one of those people who likes riding with other people (my wife excepted, if she takes the lead and I ride shotgun). I like riding my own ride, setting my own pace and not worrying about anyone else.

Not sure what caused me to be like that, but I do prefer my own company when on the bike.

Meh. I'm not one for hooning around too much, but a good long ride would be nice sometime. I'm up in Norwich now.....

(my wife excepted, if she takes the lead and I ride shotgun)

With the recent news of duck shooters being told to switch to steel shot in my mind, that turned into an interesting statement...
