Hi all

I posted in Biker Angels but figured there may be a few blokes out there a bit scared to jump into that room, so thought I would put myself out into General Population.......

Names Tash, live in Kapiti and ride a Yamaha Dragstar 250cc. Been riding the grand sum of 4 weeks. :baby: Been around bikes most of my life (Daddy rides - currently a Goldwing, but i'm still debating with him if that actually is a motorbike or an armchair on 2 wheels) and had a harley and kwakka with my exhubby but thought it was finally time to venture out and get myself a ride.

So, looking forward to chatting with you either in KB or on the roads. see you out there! :done:

@yellow dog - nah check out the post in Biker Angels - it's his bike you'd need to be worried about.... but then, i can take care of myself...... shot guns not necessary!

I usually train in - but hope to ride in a bit over summer. haven't as yet - Ngauranga Gorge scares the Bejeezus outta me.... might have to practise it a bit first :crybaby:

@ wingrider (Dad) - geeez thanks for that... In my defence the jacket is one of yours.... you're a bit bigger than me....:innocent:

Went for my first ride today, on my first road bike :D Tis good fun, YZF R6. Found it quite fidgety at very low speeds, and very comfortable on the open road :)

@pkplex: good stuff! Feels good aye? Mine was still recent so can recall the thrill.... and the fear! But just over 4 weeks under my belt now...... am going to Turangi this weekend (weather permitting) 3.5 hours!!! can't wait!
