I was expecting it to have the power of my 125.. But its got the power of a 250. No need to slip the clutch it wheelys out of corners without it.

A good choice Little.
I personally would have parked it in the matrimonial bedroom and kicked the missus out.

But maybe you don't have a missus yet. Still park it in your room tho as it's good practice.

Great stuff littlewhittle. You're probably going to be a real weapon on the 200, it's a wicked little engine, and a lot less tap dancing on the gearbox after the 125. Don't trundle it round the back yard any more, run it in properly - ie vigorously. Don't forget to change oil first ride too, little bits of swarf and shit need to come out asap.

Off topic, but had a good time at Maramarua today. Really have to take my hat off to you guys who entered the 3-day, some of it was pretty chewed out. I can't imagine riding 3 long days on it. You could sense the pain and effort that had been expended there!

Was the endurocross section part of a special test? They'd removed the car tyres out of that boxed in bit but those big tractor tyres and the log stacks needed a bit of respect. One time around was enough for me (gulp).

if the test was the same as it was when i was there 2 days after the 3day, then we started by the road, thru the bush, did the endurox bit, thru the bush abit more then when the track came close to the road again we exited the test, so im sure we didnt do all of it.
yea, it was a mission when we were there 2 days after, respect to those who finished :woohoo:

On the thrid day they had to cut half of the spirl loop out. Did u go into a really tight and very very rooted out section with just one line?

Yeah, I did it and I asked Greg what a good time was for the section so I could compare, but they'd trimmed it a bit so timing was a no go. They use the same bit (bunting tight in the trees)for GNCC, quite a tough way to finish a lap. Almost everything was in reverse from normal, so made it a very different ride. Spiral was a strange sensation to keep turning in one direction, you never do that in ordinary riding!

Mate got well stuck in one of those bogs on the back part, took both of us and a lot of grunting to haul it out.

on the spiral test? no, i videoed it, and looking at it now its pretty open most of the way around. it only took around 6 minutes, so im guessing its not the whole thing
but i remember doing the spiral test at easter when they had just started cutting it out of the bush, and it was really hard then, so id hate to imagine it during the 3day
