Looks like BMW have pulled off a stunning sports bike on their first attempt...

Seems to be some debate about whether the bike is actually that good, or whether BMW paid them all off, lol...

Sure as hell looks cool. What's the going price of a new BMW S1000RR in NZ? And the Nipponese 4?

27K or 30 for the ABS model the BMW man in Christchurch tells me. Aimed squarely at the CBR.

Actually, BMW know's how to make the best built and safest bikes on the planet.

Bear in mind this thing has over 200hp at the crank. With features like this the bike will be easier to ride fast than any other Superbike currently available.

Just for a laugh, PM Craig Shirriffs and ask him what hi opinon on ABS on the CBR is. I'm sure you'll be surprised.

No. But Craig Shirriffs is.

Gay cunt, rides a Honda, probably aspires to own a BMW once he's a grown-up. Look him up.

The paint job? You gotta be shitting me!

The only thing that commands less respect than the paint job is the tiny little doodle belonging to the pilot of said machine.

Serious question, how much in NZ? when are they available? Is there decent back-up service in Auckland? Where can I test ride one in Auckland?

I was told they arrive in Feb and 2 are already sold.
No idea on test rides - I'm guessing they will be rare beasts so it might be hard to get a test ride to start with.

Starting price 27.5K

Well when you can afford a bike rather than being a wannabe then maybe then you should post on KB, otherwise STFU. Oh and merry christmas cock.

My question was serious, however due to the fact I have had nothing to do with BMW motorcycles. I am geniunely interested in this motorcycle but cautious about the back up service.
