saw a GSXR1100/GS 1000 hybrid at the races one year.
I would love to make one...
or just buy a GSX 1400

I see your point....
In the modern days of transponders there is no requirement for them as far as lap scoring goes... HOWEVER for the spectators looking through their programmes it is vital that they be visible!

I guess a side effect of not being able to see the numbers is that you can never actually tie up the commentary with the bikes. The commentator tends to use the riders name.......

As for the op's pic... Yes, that is a good one.... A lot of faith in what Mr Code talks about right there!
