Looking for a nc30 shock in roadworthy condition, want to machine a new mounting eye on the rod end to jack up the rear end a little, hopefully make it turn corners even better..

I have one I just took out of an NC30. I'm in Auckland though. PM me how much you want to pay for it.

Sounds awesome man these bikes sit too low at the back end. Just wondering why don't you just grab a different shock out of another bike with adjustable ride height. Anyhow, let us know how it goes once your done!!!

I'm guessing but I speculate that the OP cannot justify the $1200 to $1600+ cost of a new shock in an old bike. I paid $2000 odd initially for my NC30 and have spent over $3000 on it. (new rear wheel, new rear shock, fork rebuild).
Worth every cent to me, but perhaps not to others. Or you could get the HRC or Rick Oliver dogbones that do the same thing (only about $500 or so?)
Oh, and I am sure I have an NC30 shock somewhere. There are two types: later models had a remote reservoir, early didnt (IIRC). I think I have one of each. If I have two, I will give you one, for free. Its christmas and shit.
I will look in the garage tonight.
