I must be getting old. When I saw the title of this thread I thought of international terrorist organisations and holy wars.

Where are my slippers?

Your slippers are right where you left them............
Next to radio hauraki, music from the early 80s, when time stopped for you!

Hey fan, I had the hugely hard task of shooting the stage left camera coverage.
Up on stage with the lads!!!
Been a serious fan and covered 5 of their gigs for TV, soooo happy that they are no longer pacifiers.
What a Gig!

I say it is probably no small coincidence that Jon has no nipple rings, after his crowd interactions!!!!!
Scratches all over his body!
He still went and spoke to/had his photo taken/and generally pleased his backstage fans.
They loved the whole show.
What a awesome group of guys, as well as stars!

You look me in the eye young man and tell me that the theme tune of FAME doesn't bring a lump to your throat and make you want to put on a pair of leg warmers.

Bluddy yuff of tuday etc etc

I hear that Hayley Westenra is bringing out an album of SHIHAD covers!
Seriously though, Isn't taste a funny thing... I value music of any kind but this really doesnt float my boat. No melody, no light and shade, precious little musical ability. I doubt anyone will be able to sing a SHIHAD track from memory in forty years time! But every dog has his day and they will be a huge success I have no doubt... Keep music live!!

It was wicked, I went inside to borders next door when the rain really came down. Alive was wicked live but nothing beats their old songs, My minds sedate, home again etc.

Energy output from4 people, absorbed by????? maybe 4000???
That's gotta count !
I know that some of you more rut orientated souls listen to ONE style of music only, but that only makes you less dimensional in a many sided world/society.
SHIHAD ROCK BIG TIME!!
ps sound tech told me encore reached over 135 decibals!!!! dont tell western springs.

Orchestral soundtracks for me :D and classic rock and just songs I like :niceone:
I listen to other music, but the mainstream music of my generation just well kinda sucks to me :) Someways it's annoying, cause I'm left out etc, but the quality of the music makes up for all that :D

shihad rocks big time :Punk: even you should know that indy. I love all the old songs lala land, debs nite out, sport and religion, the whole bloody general electric album. When im not tuning out to some of their hard shit it's always good to hear the john toogood solo of Run done for Channel Z. And its good to see him with his hair back again!!!

Also check the new album, its out now. Heard some of it in sounds and love it!!!

Hey c4, what you actually do for a job? Or are you just one of those lucky gits with 'connections'

c4.
3rd May 2005, 20:08
Mate, I shine stars.
Best job in da world.
I hang with the richest of the rich, the poorest of the poor, the law makers and the law breakers.
I've travelled the globe, and I get paid to have a good time.
I've dined with billionaires, poured drinks for politcal heros, slept rough with tribal cheifs, met every NZ prime minister since, and incl Muldoon.
Seen people living in dumps, stayed in the burj al arab.
They also pay me to stand on stage with NZ heros like Shihad.

big record deal... isnt that why they spent like 2-3 years in america touring and selling their album. Not flaming you but your claims seem a little hollow.

What NZ top 40 are you talking about. If you look at "The Rock FM's" top 100 shihad was in there more than enough times to call them a 'decent' kiwi band atleast
