Anyone know if its worth taking a bike up those ways as im towing a boat there but am thinking i might put bike on back too for when the tides not good

And if it is where would i take it i have been there once and thought there are some cool dunes etc there

Not so sure they like people up there. I know years ago my bro and his mates took a farm quad out there (I'm talking 10yrs ago).

Could be worth taking it anyway, I'd make sure its well secured when your not with though.... Fair bit of crime up there having only one cop and he's new to town.

Hi mate - as I gather the council have put a ban on riding dirt bikes on the dunes at kawhia last year following complaints from the locals and reports of disturbance to wildlife.
However there are a couple of trail rides in the area over christmas and new years. When were u planning to come up?

The Aotea end of the beach has been fenced off also. Keep your bike to the organised trail rides, Beach riding requires reg and wof and 20? kmh speed limit. Sand dunes are a protected species in most communities for good reason.

Yeah cool as best leave it at home and focus on fishing then im not the kinda person that likes to piss of people and the wildlife
