Hi there.
I've done a bit of searching, and couldn't turn up any results,on here, and the 'net, about suitable motorcycle/helmet specific bluetooth pairing devices for a radar detector.
I have a Bel' sti/xr.They have a standard headphone jack size,(i think 3.5mm).
So if ANYONE has any info/ NZ links they could share,i would be VERY appreciative.
Cheers.
P.S,
Merry xmas to all,and a safe new year.

I have a Blueant Interphone headset in my helmet. BUT I have found it hard to get anything other than a phone to pair with it. GPS units don't wanna know - as least the ones I have looked at don't anyway.
Less sure about detectors. Personally I think you need to buy them together to make sure they work together.

Why bluetooth?
The H.A.R.D system works just fine and is wireless?
I use that with my Bel Sti/XR and it's been awesome. As long as you switch the helmet receiver off when you stop, the batteries last for months (up to 8-9 months)
I tuck the receiver unit under one of the flaps that come down from the helmet chin straps. You will find a small pocket up inside the helmet behind the head foam and under that chinstrap section inside the helmet where you can easily get at the on off switch when removing your helmet and it keeps the unit safe and waterproof.
At first you might feel a little pressure on whatever side you use over that ear but it works great. Used that method now for four years without issues.
Cheers
