hey sorry guys for no camp frosty this year.
All good things must come to an end and in this case the trees got bowled down about 3 months back.
I tried but there is just no way I can get a decent track for the kids cut in time.
My guys aren't on their trailees this year its just too dangerous. They ain;t complaining mind you theyre mowig grass down with the cool lil grass cart that Junkmanjoe let us have.
So sorry guys --hopefully next year we'll have some massively cool trails cut

Would anyof you guys n gals be interested in a permanant offroad place in Mangawhai?
The place currently looks literally like a war was raged on it.
But because there is nothing there it means that trails and tracks could be laid in now.As the trees grow the trails can stay.
We have 50 acres of desert and teetree currently

I reckon anywhere close to Aucks will get patronage, but proof is in the numbers turning up (and the neighbours not complaining). There was a guy tried to open a place near Whangarei, but he closed after a few months, IIRC. Dunno why.

I reckon if your neighbours can be kept happy, you're close enough to get people turning up. That should keep you in beer when YOU attend, of course. I was wondering where to take #1 son on his new(ish) CRF70 cos he's a bit underpowered for sand, but too adventurous for the Sandpit Peewee/Learners. #2 likes sand (LT50, so stays upright) but hates trees (cos they keep jumping out in front of him).

I guess it depends on how many folks you want, who gets to go, how you differentiate, etc, etc, etc....

Good luck!

Mate after a long discussion with the senior Frosty -We are gonna just leave it till late spring 2010 The piles will have rotted back a bit by then. Its pretty darn dangerous right now. Theres places where its like an animal trap. Theyve had piles of treetop stuff and raked clay and sand over it. We've created a circuit thats safe on quads BUT IS REALLY PRETTY BORING
