Well after a very positive day at Wanganui I was looking forward to riding the 600 at Taupo.

I did the sunday practice day and my first practice session I felt fast and was really enjoying myself I came in afterwards and checked bike and the Suspension was working perfect the tire wear was perfect it was a good start.

Second practice I was really going for it and had passed a few bikes and ended up trying to pass a bike ran wide and Hayden and Karl came through I wastrying to keep up with Hyaden and ended up going straight ahead at the drag strip off the main straight....

Qualifying I actually felt really off the pace and didnt feel as good on the bike so had to relax abit and take things slowly and work on one good lap, I ended up qualfying 25th out of 37 so pretty average.

Race one It wasnt looking good weather wise but I went out ond drys race started and it rained got into turn 1 and see bikes scattering sideways to see Glen in the middle of the track waving franticly I decided not to run Glen over so avoided him and It got worse and worse so I slowed down and ended up dead last just circulating in the rain till the race was canned.

Race 2:

Just before my race the skys went grey so on went the wet rims and then just before we went out the sun came out but there was a big black cloud hovering above us to so I took the gamble fo if its dry ill screw my wets if its wet im in good luck,

Turns out it wasdry I saw Biggles having a luagh at my tire selection I got a cracker launch and was battling my way in mid pack when at the end of lap one into the chicane I was just picking up from leaning right changing to the left no gas on and she tryed to highside me I decided that was it it wasnt worth crashing so pulled out at the end of the following lap

It is mostly about planning Ivan, and following a bit of advice on accasions.

I noticed you were basically first to the dummy grid AGAIN! And did wonder what part of eeen grish you no understand about wheel choice and when to fit them.

Having said that, I was young once also ( Yea a very long time ago) and also made some bad choices

Rome was not built in a day mate, put it all down to POSITIVE experience, and put it all in your DATA file for the future mate.

PM me your number again

That weather was crazy, hard luck with the tyre selection Ivan.

If it had started raining again (not that unlikely) you would have been the one laughing ;)
