This year i entered the full Tri Series, so it was back to Cemetery Circut for the second time of my racing, never really liked it, i prefered Paeroa better as a street race.
"Skip" and i went up and set up camp on the Friday night, got through the scrutineering and sign in no problems.

Race Day: Went out with the newbies to get some sighting laps in, (god this place is still a shit hole to ride around), thats the challenge i suppose, really need a good suspension set up, (which i ai'nt got ) to get around this place.

Qualifiying 1: Went out to try out some lower gearing, (which i don't no whether it was good or bad) cause the bike just wanted to lift under acceleration coming out of corners, no grip at all.

Qualifiying 2: Wanted to push the bike a little harder this time, but on the second lap it all turned to Custard !!!!!! coming up to the railway bridge i lost the front, and down i went sliding into the Hay bales at a rate of knots, i felt the bike go over the top of me then bounce back onto the track, i picked myself up and got out of there just as Murray Cross came in to see what i was doing, i cracked up as he had just been giving me some advise to get around the track and here we are both in the hay bales:laugh::laugh: the crash crew said they had picked up five bikes out of there already, so things wern't looking good there.
Back into the pits to access the damage, which looked pretty bad, stripped off all the fairings etc then all the broken metal parts, it really looked like my day was over, "Skip" my pit bitch,:2thumbsup and i have to give her top marks here, (not like the first round, to busy yapping), went on the search for replacement parts, and came back with every thing i needed, Big thanks to Neil Chappel for a lone of spares, in the mean time "Skip" had also organised this nice gentleman to do some welding for me, where she finds the right people at the right time god nows but thats our "Skip." Who ever you are mate you did a great job for me and i really appreciated it, 11 tidy welds for $60.
Things were starting to get sorted, and a race to get scrutineered again with new helmet "Skip" again tracking down my transponder, we were mobile about ten minutes from race 1 start. Big thanks to my crew, xr-rider, Skip and John for getting me out there.
So i won't bore you with the racing cause i dont remember much of it, but it was great to be able to get back out there and finish both races.
Packed up and headed to Taupo, "Skip" at the wheel had us there two and half hours latter to set up camp for the TTRS the next day.

PRACTISE DAY TTRS.
We are both pit bitching for each other here, as she will be racing for her first time on the 150 Street Stock, see (Duke girl) Race Report
Practise is practise nothing mutch about that. So sat back and watched the Endurance Race for the rest of the day.

RACE DAY.
Qualifiying: Went out at the back to get a good run for qualifiying, not that it really matters as i have crap starts anyway, qualified 17th.
Then we got some showers, so a briefing was had, so it was riders choice on what tyres you ran, then some more rain, so the meeting then was declared WET. I new there could be some more rain, so as i have no spare wheels for wets i have to manualy change tyres so on went full wets, once they were on, the sun came out, and stayed out, and got hotter, shit have i made the right call here, with race start coming up it was to late to change, not looking forward to this. Dummy grid still sunny, still hot , dry track, not looking good here!!!!!! will i finnish this race?
THEN i spotted it a shower of rain way over buy the pine trees to the south west, on the start we still had a dry track, flag drops, into the first lap, far side of the track we go, YES YES a few spits of RAIN, second lap more rain, it will be here soon, third lap track wetting up and down the rain came, riders slowing up, my grin is from ear to ear, its like the race is slowing but iam getting faster, iam passing bikes every where, Benk was miles ahead of me, i have now overtaken him, and catching the Snr bikes now, i wish this race would never end, what a tin arse call i made hear on tyres, buy the last lap Shaun Donnelly and a group of others were in my sights, then it was over, i finnished forth or fifth in that race, a one i will remmember for a long time.

RACE 2: The sun stayed out for the rest of the day, so i decided to change the front back to a slick, and leave the rear wet on, which i ran at a harder pressure that normal.

Race start. Ok ,but second lap the rear was'nt feeling to hot comming out of the corners, thinking that it was over heating, i was ready for it on each turn, but comming down pit straight into turn one it was'nt going to turn in, so ran wide, glimpsed down at the rear and it was flat, so pulled off into the grass.
That was it, little disappointed not to finnish that race after all the efforts that went into the weekend, packed the van, and went to prize giving and a bite to eat before we headed off.

A HUGE thanks to the "Side Car Association" for the event its only going to grow, Chris lawrance , Andy Scrivener and all your helpers thanks again you certainly know how to cater for a Motor Sport event such as this one.:clap:
And to all the Marshalls another big thank you.:niceone:

I sure was proud him for getting back out there after looking at the state of the bike when he came back to the pits.:2thumbsup So glad that he came out of it without a scratch on him.
Just goes to show that when you have all the right protective gear on, how well it holds up to what its suppose too.

Thanks for the heads up guys,
I tried to chase some points over the "Tri Series" Races but still can't figure how they work them, never mind had a lot of fun trying.
Found out the problem with the flat rear in the last Race at Taupo, a piece of wire right though the middle of the tyre, oh well thems the breaks.
Next track outing Central Districts 9th Jan on the R6 that should be good.
