Trucking along yesterday and seen a sign at Rakaia I think advertising Methven street races easter 2010? Anyone have more infor, classics or all classes?

Yep caught that whilst on my way through to Ch-Ch on xmas day,should be a great day out,still miss Rakaia races.

Is that because you're to crap for real racing?
Might have to make an effort to have a bike or two going for that one

I'm not made of money, race tracks are too expensive. Except for that one time I got a full day at Ruapuna for free.

I don't know, a street race normally involves traffic lights though.

Street racing is even more of an adrenalin buzz than the track!:devil2:
Us bucket racers will be there!

Be great to see you & TWR out on the track:2thumbsup ;)Na dont give him any credit yet,finally got off me arse and got on with it at home in the shed,i had a bet with a mate that the thing would fire up within 5 kicks(hadnt been started for......well a long time)numerous hundred kicks,three pushes and lots of swearing away it went,when finished blaming it on avgas and single carb conversions i finally worked out how the farkin choke lever worked:girlfight::beer::calm:
