New Years Eve – Morning Ride
Avalon – Duckpond 9.30am for 9.40 departure
Rimutex – 10.00am for 10.10am departure.
Well the weather for New Years Eve looks good.
Good for a ride in the morning.
Over the hill, and …..at Featherston over a coffee, let’s decide there and then:
Choices - Google Them:
1. Watersons Line - Carterton
2. Westmere - Masterton
3. Martinborough
4. Lake Wairarapa
5. All of the Above
Happy New Year

Enjoyed the ride with AJ and Quasi today.
Coffee at Featherston and then I lead AJ and Quasi out around the back of Carterton, they had never been out that way before.
We then crossed SH2 down East Tarahi Rd along Bristol Rd and toward Ponatahi, turning left at Stonehenge intersection down to Longbush Rd and in the back way to Martinborough.
Cold drinks at the hotel. Then I headed down the road towards Lake Ferry turning right toward East West Access and carried on through Kahutara then and back to Featherston, over the hill and home.
Cheers and thanks for the company AJ and Quasi.
260km for the day, and the Ninja is just at 2,250km since new last month. Run in the motor very well and the most noticeable thing, for me, is the weight difference compared to the CB900. The lack of horsepower is not an issue, the bike sits comfortably up there in its power range.

Ride tomorrow looks good. Will see about joining you, either at Rimutex or Featherston - depending on how tonight goes
