Nice pics - I got there half way through the show and didn't manage to get any shots of these guys.
Can I trade you a photo credit in Kiwi Rider for the use of one? Got them in higer res?
I brought the camera just before I drove up. Learnt to use it on the Friday night. Only has 3x Zoom and 4 megs so all the pics are around 1 meg compressed. Will upload some to my gallery when I crop and size them.

I've got some at 3 meg too. The running-in procedure on Triumph's press bike was impressive. Scrub tyres till they go pop.
WTF, how on earth are those guys allowed to do that without full leathers, one guy was wearing shoes. Are we turning into yanks??

I resent that. Not all "yanks" don't wear gear. Just the Sportbike riders for the most part. And not all cruiser riders ride with no helmet, just the gang members. So bugger off. The rest of us are just as safty conciuous as you.:shake:

You can't perform stunts on a sportsbike in full leathers sonny.
People used to constantly berate me about it but if you can't climb all over the bike, you're more likely to drop it anyway.

Never worn them but they are better than the shorts sportbike riders wear, so long as they are decent leather.

True but then the jeans that you are suposed to wear under them do.

They are allowed to do it because we haven't turned into Yanks, or at least into the American system of having to find somebody else to blame if you get injured - well not quite yet anyway...
(Nothing personal, just hit a button with your use of the term allowed) ;)

I've seen more than one stuntrider who would disagree with you,I've only watched 2 stuntriders and both wore full leathers and were doing stunts like those pictured

But you told me, you weren't a "yank"!!! Most decidedly not! No sirree Bob! I thought you was a Texan! And we all know, they arent yanks. So are you resenting by association? :drinknsin

Notice the quotes? That's me using a term that y'all here seem to use for americans. I'm mocking you and me at the same time. I can do that you know.:niceone:

In seriousness, what does one call a person from the USA who is not a "Yankee". American does not show the "non-Yankiness" and is also ambiguous with Canada and Latin America ?
Southerner seems somewhat impolite and confusing since it would include California and Florida, which I would not normally associate with the "South" , Southern Gentleman over the top, and Rebel would I suspect be unwise ?
Dixielander ? maybe ?
Is there a generic term for an "Old South" person . No pisstake , genuine question
Eh. WTF - what happened to Mr Alucard_draken ?

Sorta fits me seing as how I really don't fit in anywhere. And was gonna say inrespons to your post before you could just call me Waylander. It also has to do with all the trouble I've been having with imigration so at the moment I have no homeland and thus am a waylander.
And its the cool name from several of David Gemmel's books :msn-wink:

Wearing a one piece, I can't swing my legs around and over the mirrors when sitting on the tank easily.
They're also too restrictive for to do a leap of faith, something you want to be pretty confident of success.
Different strokes for different folks and all that, but most of the time, speeds are pretty low anyway.

Stunting is the opposite of racing. Its skill in slowness, rather than skill in speed :)

Well said that man. Fell of my dirtbike many times learning that fact :ride:
Then again, it used to buzz my mates out when I'd flick my legs (and body) flat out behind my road bike at 100km/h(or there abouts  ) and pass them, looking like I was hanging on for grim death at warp speed. :D :D Wish I'd got photos now I think about it :(

hey man thanks 4 posting these pics of us. it was our first show, i was so nervous i was feeling sick in the guts! i ride the r1,and the triumph. the guy that was wearing the shoes, is a mate of mine, regan burke. the day before the show he hadn't even been on a bike before. i gave him a double and he loved it! so we decided to chuck him in the show as he had nothing planned for the weekend. we are going to get him some boots etc, as everyone seemed to like the three up stuff, and i don't know anyone else who would get out there and do what he did?none of my other mates are crazy enough! we are sorry if we upset anyone by including him,in shoes, but it was a last minute thing. next time we'll have him sorted!
I thought you guys put on a great show especailly on the Saturday when the track was wet.
I missed photos of the best stoppies and highchairs you did but atleast I got a couple of ok pics.
Been looking at superstreetbike.com that has explainations on how to do some of the stunts and variations. Hope you guys go on to do more shows and don't bin to many bikes along the way. :niceone:
