Oh ... ok. Is "sheepie" ... a blond with curly hair ..... ? And doesn't she take up a bit of room on the DR, .... or does she drive, and you hang on the back .. ?? (strange pictures I conjure up in my mind, I tell ya !!! ...... ) :D
Yeah ... on a "serious note" ... often wondered about sheep skin, ... and what happens if it starts to precipitate down .. ? Do ... ewe stop and put a rubbish bag over it .... ??? :D
They are supposed to be very comfortable though. (I'll stop now though, before any Aussies start taking the piss .... )
Cheers.

I have seen a airhawk seat on a DR, and a mate who gone on some very long tours on his DR swears by a sheep skin cover....

Yeah, apparently sheepskins do make a real difference. I haven't tried one on any bike I've had so far, but they sound like a good option.
The airhawk thing may be comfortable ..... but DR's are tall enough as they are, without adding more height. I'm 179cm, and prefer to be able to flat foot, even with a lighter bike.
Cheers. :niceone:

That's all right .... coming from a Pegaso rider !!! You could probably get away with wearing ...... whatever ( .. insert your own ideas here .... !!) ...... under your riding gear ..... :D
How far have you ridden a DR650 ??? :)

I wouldn't lower my standards to even sit on one :girlfight:
However I do remember that a plank of 2x4 would have been more comfortable than the seat on my Djebel and bike shorts made that a little more bearable.
I rode Wanaka to Christchurch on that Djebel, felt like I'd been through singles night at a gay bay

Get a Corbin, Renazco, Sergent...
Or mod your current one (http://www.photostorage.nelson.geek.nz/sports/motorsport/mybikes/DR650/20070214%20Seating/index.html)...

Yeah, I've read good things about Renazco and Sargent seats. Not so sure about Corbin's. They have been making them for years, but have read mixed reports on them - and DR seats.
Cheers. :niceone:

If you want to a rough and ready, The warehouse pet department have pet sleeping mat sheepys big enough to cover the pillion too, in oval shape, different pile lengths for 20 bucks. Most are one piece and have no seams. Couple of temporary velcro dots to keep in local and your away. Just an option.
