I checked out the truck I drive at work for a laugh, and apparently it "lost" a couple of thousand kilometres whilst getting serviced. Failed a COF, and went for a retest, and the hubo read differently- was actually a cock up on the testers recording, and not a "wind back". Just looks dodgy on the records though! I know it wasn't wound back, and the log book proves it!
Just pays to be careful with with what they record on the site.
