Tyres are nearing a replacement and while I've got 10,ooo kms out of these ones am keen to hear from other aprillia riders there recommendations.
I travel 1600 kms a week - mainly flat but like to throw the hills in for fun.

I have tryed all brands at one time or another but keep going back to M1 front & either a Z6 rear or M3 rear have a M3 on the back now but will be replacing with a Z6 for summer

Thanks for the info - am keen to try the M1 on the front, so will throw one on and try - will pass on the feedback after a few weeks.
Whats your reasons for the Z6 over the M3?
Would be keen to hear?
Hey thanks for the time - appreciate it as the Aprillia is new for me and while I'm fine with other bikes and tyres some advise and feedback is good to have.
A bloody fine bike they are.

1,600km a week? 83,200km a year?

im thinking.. 1600k a week. flat roads... buy a car. The bill to run a bike those kind of ks will be horrendeous.

In saying that, whatever you put on will only be 6 weeks from coming off again so might as well try them all and give us some feedback. Pics of wear pattern would be awesome too

Mainly for the extra tread depth through summer with the added heat of the road & doing lot more miles with abit of 2 up riding the Z6 gives me better over all mileage

*sigh*
Being Italian, probably something like: Semper ubi sub ubi

Dunlop Sportmax 209's
stick like a shit to a blanket, and the 190/55's seem to have a nice little tipping assist benefit over the 190/50's

For the style of riding described, a sports touring tyre should fit the bill nicely for both handling and wear. There are better sports touring tyres than the Metzeler Z6. Avon Storms and Pirelli Angels would be a good place to start. If you're a died-in-the-wool Dunlop fan, then go for the Roadsmarts.

If you're a died-in-the-wool Dunlop fan,

I wonder if you mean "dyed-in-the-wool"? Died-in-the-wool conjures up images of dead sheep...or worse.

...or worse.

Dunlop fans are dodgy.
