I am soo over this weather! Other than getting boozed (which is an idea that I am open to) WTF is there to do in dirty old Wellington today if one is trying to avoid the beautiful weather that God has blessed us with?
Someone should really have a party or something.... :wait:

After leaving Pauanui in 30+ degree heat yesterday awaking in welly this morning was a bitter pill to swallow. We only came back early for my son's cricket and it has been cancelled.
Fuck it I'll go for a ride.

We've had rats visit our attic (not sure how long ago) so there is a bunch of "stuff" to remove, including soiled batts. So I'll treat myself to that job today considering the weather. This is at the top of a 2 storey house with a high stud. Not sure how the hell they managed to get up there.

I'm pleased someone started a bloody crap weather thread. I need somewhere to go for a moan. So much for all those "happy new year" greetings - call this a start for a happy year! At least the new year can only getting better, hopefully before winter arrives. Oh, sorry, just looked out the window, winter is already here.
Time to sell the bike and buy a snow mobile.

I am by no means drunk. Just over the limit. 3 beers in 53 mins is easy....
No one can stand up in my street today with the way the wind is gusting down here.

I know what you mean. Tried to take Tim fishing on Friday at Point Howard. We gave up after half an hour. Damn that wind was strong. I swear it blew all the fish down to the South Island.

Just heard that it might be nice (read not raining and 130kph plus winds) tomorrow. Dusting off the striple in anticipation.
What a shite start to the year though - loads of time off and stuck inside due to the crap weather. It can only get better.

Fuck the gales. Today Mrs H and I went riding. To say it was blowing a bit in the Wairarapa is a bit like saying that Mark Knopfler can play the guitar.

You're welcome!
