At the very real risk of diverting the thread off-topic before it even gets going I do have one question though.

Why pass the queue at Kopu on the left? It's never occurred to me to do that - we just work our way up on the right, often not crossing the centreline and it surprised me to see you do it on the shoulder.

good question? The image is distorted a little was wider than it looked, we are not travelling that fast and seemed to be a lot more safer at the time than trying to pass on the right with so many cars coming the other way from the traffic flow out of Kopu. Most of the cars you see had been parked like this for over an hour and a half and to be fair the video only shows a couple of very brief moments in time. cheers bro.
