its pretty involved but pretty easy really - if you have the software.

you need to decyrpt the DVD to hard drive
then run it through an editor to cut out the bit that you want to upload
then run it though a convertor (I convert all mine to XViD for upload to make file size smaller cause Youtube quality is average at best anyhow)

the whole process should take about 30 mins if you find a machine thats already setup with video editors and stuff.

Have you got the MPEG files used to create the DVD? If not, you need to use a tool to convert the DVD back to MPG.

First hit in google gives you this http://www.aoamedia.com/dvdclip-youtube.htm

Although it appears to be old as youtube no longer has the silly 320 * 240 resolution limits as it can now go up to 1920x1080

I have conversion software that came with my new HDD camera. Mission though, hundreds of Megs of footage of the 3-hour (actually gb's), and I can't upload them to PC all at once (tried) one at a time...yikes. Big Job on!

doa hunt for a program called windows commander, or total commander as they changed the name. So much easier working with files
