Come on peeps whats ya worst?
My Fazer with the Leo's with no db killas came out at over 105db at low revs... didnt bother testing top end...
Noted that different locations and equipment would give different readings...

I'm loathe to find out. Car alarms have gone off whilst I'm tootling through Woolies car park at 1500rpm.

Highest exhaust reading? I didn't know they measured it. Mine is a little higher than the swingarm I suppose.

What db should a 650 vtwin be, with a shorty screaming demon with no baffle in it?

would hate to think what it reads with the meter set up properly and with some actual revs.......

The green meanie puts out a gentle 94 dB at 3,000 RPM. Which is all the WOF man really cares about... :D
I have no idea what the reading would be hitting the redline under load... but a lot more!

My old VFR managed 113dB in its first and only visit to VTNZ. Nothing special, just gutted pipes.

Yeah. My suspension is squeaking a bit too.
Is there anywhere in Wellington I can get a dB check on my bike?

I would be asking some questions about the exhaust or the reader.... my RG150 only put out about 97 at WOF testing level.

My last bike was 125dbA at 3 meters behind the bike, at around 5000rpm
Current bike is 95dbA and thats the story I'm sticking to!!!!
