This dude has made a 1/16th scale P-51 Mustang and an F-4U Corsair out of aluminium. All of the controls work !! He even made individual gun rounds out of brass in 3 pieces !!!
:eek::drool:

I thought I could make okay things from alloy, suddenly I feel very inadequate !!

I know that feeling. I had it the first time I watched a porno.

Still - thats one amazing plane. A work of art.

A plane is a wood working tool.

There's two different aircraft represented in those photos too.

In other news, I've always known I was inadequate. I just work better with what I've got than most people.

Correct. That's why I quoted both aircraft types in my post.

Maybe I should have not put "inadequte" either.
I knew this would be bait for the fishermen...

Yes I know you did. I was being a bitch for Tank's benefit.

Whats worse is I didnt even pick up on it even after reading it twice.

I need a beer - this back to work lark is messing with my thinking.

1/16th ain't big at all. The detail on those is truly insane!

I've always liked the idea of a fully alluminium P-51/P-40/F4U/Spitfire with a working V-12 in it. Might get around to it in another 30 years when I have more time on my hands!

Clever bastard.

Wounder if he could knock me up a P38 in his spare time?

Thanks for sharing.

How much weight would I need to lose to fit into one?
