Server stats: http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/monitorix/

I can see the server is spending a considerably amount of kernel time in the iowait state. Either something is generating a lot of background I/O, or the disks are struggling to keep up.

Do you use memcached? If can help reduce the load on the drives by quite a lot. Even YouTube uses it ...

Also the network card looks like it is generating around 200 interrupts/second. This should really be running in some kind of DMA mode. You might want ot check the driver you are using (assuming it is a decent branded server NIC).

I note in the last week (using the monthly report) the io wait, number of network interrupts and context switches have all increased noticably. Makes me more suspicious of a driver issue.

Taking a break from the upgrade. Been at it everyday for over a month. Also want to wait for the next two bug releases before doing any more coding on vB. Will just be working on tidying up what's been done so far.

It sometimes troubles me what my post count would be if I didn't get out and ride more.

Hi Spank,
Was looking for the Site Stats the other day and they don't seem to be in the drop-down menus at the top of the page any more.

Is this due to a Vbulletin upgrade perhaps?

It doesn't seem to wont to work with the current version. I'll try and sort it.
