Ive sort of lost interest in the last month being busy with work etc and have no idea what the latest news is. I know it changes on july the 1st.

But what i want to know is at this point in time, what is the proposed levy going to be (for my 1000cc bike). I just put 6 months on the other day that will take me to july the 1st. And i know that once they have officially anounced the levy hike then from that day onwards if you put extra rego on that all the rego you pay from 1st july onwards will be at the new rate.

So in the next month or so im going to update to the full 15months i can have.

But yeah can anyone let me know what they think its going to cost at the moment?

Sorry if this is in another thread.

Cheers

The extra amount for your bike is $174 plus Gst.
Don't quote me, but regs run in 12 month sections. This means that if your 12 months is up, say October, the new rate will apply from then. So, if you've put a part year on it, which runs out 1/7, you should have 3+ months still at the old rate.
If this is not the case, and you want to put 15 months on it...do so in the last few days of June, to maximise the benefit.

Hey mate havent talked to you for a while.

Is there any link for this info on the rises so far? i tell you what. $200 odd bucks feels a lot better than $500 as a levy increase.. but its still far too much in my opinion.

Have you heard that GST is going upto 18% on april 1st. So im getting my 15 months rego before that date otherwise thats going to be another 5.5% increase on the rego just from gst for fucks sake lol
