Well, we married off our eldest daughter Amy before Christmas. A great day, with our families and friends to share the love.
Amy and Jason did a great job of the traditional first dance, and I then jumped in for a little father-daughter fun on the dance floor...

Unbelievabably proud. She grew up as a tom-boy, and turned into a pint-sized stunner.

Ha...! I was thoroughly lost a couple of times. We only put it together five days before the wedding, and only managed a couple of practices before the day, and it showed. But we had fun, and made people laugh.
Unfortunate camera angle for a chubby old fart...

Not too bad. I hate public speaking, I always end up mumbling and talking way too fast when nervous, and despite best intentions, I did just that. I managed to embarrass the happy couple with a rather outrageous story...

...Long and boring for those not in the know.
Both Amy and Jason work for me in our Fire Protection business, which involves some on-call work for them. The ficticious story involved a certain unfortunate "conditioned reflex" that Jason developed, in that he "rose to the occasion" whenever the pager went off. The unfortunate effects that this had on his work, social life, and home life, were covered in great detail...
They had scoffed beforehand at the suggestion that I would make them both blush. I succeeded...
