great read..
eddie and i are on good terms with the old whangmomona road.... 20 odd kms long, 3hrs to ride it in the rain...
was good to see every one run in to the mud and help you with your bike.... i didnt know ktm make a tan colored bike..

I've just finished the clean-up job. Did a complete strip down of all the body plastics and washed with soapy water (the water blaster alone won't shift that shit).
Even had to strip and clean the throttle housing and starter/kill switch block.

We recently did a group ride through the same route. It was enjoyable, I got home and spent 6 hours cleaning the 640A. As I was doing it, I was thinking to myself, was it really worth it? Damn right it was...:) I stripped the calipers, the switch blocks, the crap was everywhere....Would I do it again, bloody oath! :)
