HI guys - I have been away for a while doing other things but getting back into a bit of riding on my Kawie Vulcan 800cc Classic. Wanting to know how I go about getting a King and Queen seat made up as the original is a bit short in the tail for me and I need the riders seat to go back three or four inches and have a support backing. Also the original is HD style and has only a 5" wide back seat which is uncomfortable on longer trips so I want to create a bucket style K&Q seat like I once got done for a 500 single and it make a huge difference to the ride. Anyone in Wellington to recommend? . I dont mind using my original seat to save costs but roughly how much should I budget for please? I am also thinking if its possible to have a reinforced back for the pillion. I am sure many of you have some ideas on this. As a last resort, I would accept just getting the rider seat taken back and reinforced as a back stop or wall as I mainly ride alone anyway. Cheers LDeR:yes:

A quick google shows: http://www.trimit.co.nz/ - not sure you'll find one in Wellington.

Did some goggling and amazing what you can get done but rang the Boyies at Wellington MC centre and they put me onto Rotary Motor Trimmers whom actually were just a couple kms from home in Hanson Lane Newtown. Had a short afternoon so bowled over and had the seat checked over - refit etc for $120-$150. Choice. Will update in due choice as I have to wait until next week to have the work done.
