Hi all :)
Just picked up my new KLE 500... a sweet bike EXCEPT for the seat :(
I know the rider seat guys in Tauranga will do a good job BUT they aren't exactly cheap.
Does anyone know of an upholsterer in AKL that, if not specialising in bike seats has got reasonable experience with them??
Cheers

Charmans do seat cover kits you can fit yourself or they will do it. Do a search on yellow pages

Try John Fellows Motor Trimmers, 188 Stoddard Rd, Mt Roskill, phone 6290184. He has done several seats for me and does a great job for a very reasonable price

Thanks for the posts guys... plenty of options :)
I must say, I rather like the "woodland camo" seat cover at Charmans... might look nifty on the KLE

Just as an update, I used Kiwi Auto-Marine Upholsterers (09 6365015). It cost me $80. I brought it in late in the afternoon and they had it ready by 10:00am the next day. If I was in Napier I would have used Charmans.

My 2cents:
I contacted these guys about a YZF600R seat, really fast service, paid over the phone, courier was here the next day, cost about $47 including postage AND the seat turned out great
Would recommend!
