Who else has recently received a multipage letter from Tariana Turia?

I object to this unsolicited and wasteful mailing and have replied in that regard (as below). Hopefully one taxpayer funded waste will be curtailed if a few more did the same.

"Hi Tariana,

I have recently received a multipage document by post in regard to Rahui Katene's speech to parliament on ACC matters. I object to the waste of paper, administrative effort and postage (all of which are taxpayer funded) involved in distributing this unsolicited literature. My original and only communication to you was by email and if you feel it necessary to communicate peplies of such information to me I ask that it also be transmitted via email so as to minimise its impacts in the aforementioned regards.

Please remove my postal address from your database and do not send me any further such information via the mail.

Regards,
xxxx"

I haven't received the mail, but I agree with your sentiment. Actually I would object if they sent me that document by email too. It's probably a massive file.

Really, unless the document is a direct response to a question from you, they should have asked you if you would like to receive further communications from them on "related subjects" and not just spammed you.

Have you read the document? Does it actually lay out the Maori Party's policy on the motorbike levies? Because as far as I know they have never actually specified what their policy is and it would be great if they had finally decided!
