Yamaha SA50 Speedo Cable

I just picked up a little 1982 Yamaha SA50 Passola off Tardme to hoon around on for next to nix:doobey:. It goes well and is registered, but the speedo doesn't work. I pulled it apart and found it has a stuffed cable. I have had a flick around Google and can't find anything in NZ for them.
The specs are 840mm long with 2.5mm square ends.
The cable outer is still servicable, if that helps.
While I am on the topic, does anyone know how hard it is to de-restrict the exhaust/ intake on one of these?

They are an English company, and it will cost you 10 pound+freight, but they are very good, and very fast. I ordered a piston kit + top end gasket set, and it arrived in 4 days!
