Repainting (help on color).

Well I'm screwed if I can settle on a color - What would you guys like to see - other than fluro pink, I have already done that color :niceone:

I was thinking the old kawaski racing type colors - green with black at the bottom.

Then I thought black. I cant decide so someone feed me some ideas :niceone:

p.s I'm not doing it myself, its getting done next week by an airbrusher once the plastics are all weilded up good'n :yes:

Yea thats what I was thinking, but dont know if there are any better options - I was originally going for the green and the little black bit on the bottom of the side fairings. :niceone:

I like the top color so put that on the bottom bike and I think it would rock! (the second one looks yellow to me? I'm colorblind so I cant tell)

you've done the hard work - you got photoshop or photopaint or similar?
Select 'Image adjust', 'hue & saturation' and then move the sliders up and down - you can make that baby any colour of the rainbow.

Or there is a red white and blue variation. Scott Russell and Aaron Slight won the Suzuka 8 hour on a 750, so Kawi released a cool 400 "Itoham" replica version.
Speaking of Repsol Orange I painted the wheels on my ZXR race bike that colour, bought some Tamiya spray cans and used those, didnt turn out too bad.

Whoa freaky, thats the colors that I decided on, I saw the similar one in a magazine - cool! Mine gets started on tuesday at the latest then I'm getting some decals made up for it, 'Ninja' 'Kawasaki' 'ZX2R' and some little random ones to go on the black bit at the bottom :)

I was also going to say that ZX2R decals would look a bit better than just ZXR. I wanted to change mine to ZX2R but they have clearcoated over the decals :mad:
I'm thinking about getting some Kwaka green rim stripes but have no idea where to get them?

bit late but mine is looking pretty fine in matt black, i would post pics but the cameras batteries are flat. Make sure you post some pics so we all know how it turns out, also hook us up with the ZX2R decals man, or atleast a bitmap of what your getting done so i can use it on mine when i decide between white and chrome to go on black...
