So... My cat was missing since Thursday. now normally this isn't much of a concern as when some of our neighbors go away he quite often gets locked in (cat food, water, litter tray inside) so he is fine. However we text them this morning and they said they had been home the whole weekend and hadn't seen him so we started to get a bit worried. We decided to go for a look around the other neighbors property as there are train tracks close and we were expecting the worse. Luckily the train tracks were further than we thought so that eased our mind a bit.

After looking around the neighbors house with no success we decided to go home. Just as we were walking up the driveway I looked in the neighbors car and there was our bloody cat sitting there staring at me! Just seemed to be happily lazing in the sun :|

Poor bugger had been stuck in there since Thursday.

Hes all fed and watered now and back to his usual self. :woohoo:

Always nice to hear happy ending involving a cat!

Your neighbour might not be happy if he left any 'mementos' in his/her car though?

Hahah. He didn't seem to have left anything in there. All smelt fine :s I guess having no food or water he didn't have anything to get rid of :p We will see if the neighbours get back to us though.

Glad your cat is all good :)

I used to have an oriental cat.. They are nut's and very vocal. This little bugger went 'walkabouts' for weeks. We did all the usual stuff, put up posters, sent out fliers. We would get call's from people bloody miles away saying that he had been in their kitchen but buggered off as soon as they tried to get hold of him. After about a week or so it wen't really quiet, no more calls, so I thought the worst. Then one night at about 2am or some such time the git walks in bold as brass meowing his bloody head off, I really didn't care what time it was, just glad that he was home. I really thought that he was gone for good.

Yeah he is a Burmese X Ocicat and seems to like being friendly and exploring. He has done it a couple of other times for a few days which is why we didnt worry at first but lucky we went looking this time as it was the neighbors second car that they dont use much

Great outcome!!

Yep, I'm a total softie for our two cats, much more so than Mrs B. A couple of years back, I was playing with one of ours in the garden and chatting with it (as you do) and I hadn't noticed our neighbour watching me. First thing I knew about it was when I heard her saying, "You need grandchildren, you do". Managed not to blush.

Always want a Ocicat, they look well cool. I had a Maine Coon at the same time, far easier to live (read, stayed at bloody home) with but not as much fun.

I've got three female cats and they have never wondered so i'm pretty lucky with that.Recently last year I moved into a new place and because it was a new sourandings to them I decied to get all three of them microchipped they wear collars with tags on with their name on and my cell ph num.It cost me $100 for the microchip to be put in each cat but I thought it was a good idea to do it. I was just wondering have you put a microchip in your cat?

I hate cats. They live in your house and do absolutely nothing. You say hi and lick their ass all day long and want absolutely nothing to do with you until they’re hungry. They expect you to clean up their shit and piss while they give you a blank, stupid look.

They depend on you, but act like you can go to hell and they’ll be fine. However, in reality a house cat in the wild is little more than an easy meal! More or less, a cat is like a cheating, gold digging girlfriend.

PS We have our neighbours cat here because of the girls downstairs who feed her. Any photos of me cuddling and feeding this moggy are photoshopped, dont believe them

I'm hoping you missed out a 'they' somewhere in there

A comparison might also be drawn with a live at home teenager. But at least you can stroke and cuddle the neighbours cat without getting into too much trouble .

Lucky for you I wasn't drinking then or you'd owe me a new laptop. Bling for spotting that. Pure gold.

I am now the bearer of bad news. Not Rick but his sister Bailey :'( She has been missing since friday and our neighbour told us she saw her lying out the front of our house on the kerb. Can't find her now but I assume she was hit by a car and cleaned up by someone. :(

Awww... poor Bailey! Unfortunately that's so often the way with cats in town.

Sad news, Scott. I'd be gutted if something happened to our cat. He's almost human round here.

Hey, you are both welcome at our place for racing this weekend too if you wish. We'll provide the meals so don't worry about that expense either. Looks like it's going to be a fine weekend...

You aren't supposed to lick their arse. They can do it for themselves and do a much better job of it too.
