Oh my fecking god, are they kidding. 8o million bucks for this. Its art I guess, but cant understand why is art used as a building for law and order... I just dont get it.
All the scum that will visit this place ( i mean lawyers ) will have nice surroundings, thats soo nice for them and the cunts that designed it and made plenty. Cant we have a regular big strong building that oozes authority, rather than the scaffolding we ended up with, and some money left over for a school or hospital.

Not only am I astounded at how butt-ugly that building is but also how short it is. Why the hell did they use such prime land for a short building? You could have put ten levels on the site (easily) and reaped rewards with rent! Or am I missing something?

Whose idea was it? An expert, or a politician?

I have to say I agree. Sure it is the highest court in the land, but I don't see why a place where Justice is to be considered needs to be so grand.
The MOJ has not been tax payers money with due consideration for the return to the public.

Every Judge gets their own ensuite (including shower).
They also wanted their own place to eat (but didn't get it).
Building $80 M. Arty facade $4 M. That seems out of proportion.
