Cast disc on standard pads. Yes or no?

Just brought a new bike and it has a flash wave disc on it.

Can i use my beringer cast disc without changing pads?

Would i be able to swap from one to the other? eg 2 sets of wheels

I can't think of any reason why not . As long at the disk is the same swept area and isn't thicker than the factory one.
You might though find yourself going to a different compound pad for road racing.
