my uncle's bike is on TM, auction, already hit reserve, plenty of pics on there
price is estimate only, just see what the auction gets up to

The engine of this bike was recently rebuilt using the best parts of two engines, one from a scrap donor bike (included in the sale , if wanted, plus tatty Haynes manual) It has since covered approximately 30 miles(48 km) and seems to be running fine.
As far as I know the bike is all original except for the mufflers and possibly downpipes. The lift handle just under the seat behind the shock absorber is missing. I have the original fuel tap with new rubber overhaul kit and mirrors though neither are fitted for the photos.
Black paint on the frame is good. Green paint on the tank and side panels not so good. Chrome generally good except for some rust spots particularly under the seat for the rear mudguard.
The kickstart stopped engaging towards the end of test running. Starts on the electric starter.
The engine will need stripping down as the problem with the kickstart lies within the crankcase. It would need stripping down anyway to repaint.
Sold as is where is; as a good restoration project. 28,405 miles on clock - not confirmed. Unregistered and not warranted. Original reg plate on bike.
