Who needs a fresh lick of paint?

Hey dudes

Just painted my mates ZXR400 in ice white with a purple/blue pearl. Havnt painted in some time but it bought the flame back the bike looked so sick, so if anyone needs their bike painted id be glad to help out with a real cheap price and a pro finish. I use only the best PPG Paints, Ill post some pics of the ZXR once we have it back together also. I got some wicked colour ideas too if you cant think of anything.. Im keen to do a real deep black with a Red pearl i seen it before.. looked like some kind of demon bike lol

Hey mate, I've got a ZXR250 that's in need of some lovin'. What sort of price are you talking? I think the bodywork for the ZXR400 and ZXR250 are almost identical.

are the fairings in good shape? if you just want a new paint job, im thinking like around $200 plus paint, so would probley cost you around $500 for most colours, otherwise id just have to have a look see. what area you in?

yea me 2 lol we are going to put it back together tomorrow once its gone off properly, it looks awesome eh. Motorbikes a wicked to paint so many angles for reflections and pearls etc.. I used to paint cars but its no were near the same satisfaction i get from bikes.

I've been toying with the idea of painting my bike and hear from people that PPG is great. It's funny how some things work for some people and not for others.

yea im going to this arvo, we just about to go down to the workshop and pick the fairings up then well put it back together and take a pic for yas

nah doing it tomorrow now, couldnt get the bike started lol so we going to charge the battery first.

We just want to get it running before we put the fairings on so we dont have to take them off again to get it sorted... got most of it on now though. need to drill a couple of holes as the new fairings seem to be slightly different

Yea its real hard to see the pearl in the photos but its quite strong when your looking at it.

MMMMM :drool::drool: Like the idea of this paint scheme for my Blackbird, it will need to be touched up though as there is the normal stone chips etc,etc from years of touring, but this is mainly on the front bits, after painting is done clear skins will be added to take care of said stone chips. If you can forward some idea on $$$$ that would be great, looking at doing over winter so have sometime up my sleeve
