Well, went to Te papa today and saw amongst everything else the KillaCycle. If you are not familiar with the bike it is an electric drag bike...bit like a slot car bike on steroids. I had a good chat to Bill Dube, the owner of the bike. Real nice bloke and very humble about his creation. At apprximately 500hp this is an amazing electric machine. And running down the drag strip costs about 15 cents of electricity...impressive...
He was saying that his wife also has an electric bike that was built up from an italian 2 stroker frame (I forget the name of the bike) but this little bike puts out 40hp and is an ideal commuter. Who knows in 10 years we may all be riding large slot bikes...
