View Full Version : The forest of strange happenings...

Well, a couple of weeks ago I posted this little tale of an exiting happening witnessed by an under stimulated fellah living in a 1 horse town http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/115566-If-you-go-down-to-the-woods-today-you-re-sure-of-a-big-surprise! Nothing more than than an amusingish tale of lust in the woods but Today.....

I tried to drive into the track that leads to the very same lusty woods but my way was barred by a Police man with what appeared to be a bazooka, so I thought better of it and shot off to the gas station to get a Coke and contemplate where else I could walk the dog. As I passed the road a second time ,I noticed the copper had buggered off so I went in and walked the dog as per boringly usual.

20 minutes or so later, when the nut job of a dog had had her fill, we left but as we drew down to the main road I couldn't help but notice what was presumably the same copper shoot out of the little lane and hi tail it towards new Plymouth, all a bit strange I'm thinking.

Any way, about half a click? down the main drag there is a sign saying (Police incident) a rather large TV camera, 10-20 Police cars and a whole gaggle of Armed offenders/ swat team/ riot police complete with a whole arsenal of weapons.

I slowed down to 140 ks or so as a precaution  and I'm thinking, facks me this is a bit over the top for a bit of extra marital shenanigans in the woods, perhaps it's Taranaki's anual shagfest in the woods and nobody told me, as usual.

Getting to the point, finally,...When I arrived home and did a bit of Detective work, it would appear that we have had a bit of a Murder incident in downtown New Plym and the word on the street is the two prime suspects are reportedly hiding out in lusty woods awaiting a showdown with the Law. Yes as I'm sure you've figured out,It would appear that In the brief moment that one copper had snuck off for a piss or to investigate noises in the bushes or something, I had nipped behind the Police cordon, into the forrest where a couple of suspected murderers were hiding out in their desperateness, walked the dog and had a smoke in complete ignorance of the shitstorm happening all around me

If you watch the news tonight and the coppers express an interest in talking to the driver of a blue Rav4 wandering in and out of a major crime scene..............you ain't seen me right.

:msn-wink: Nope, just Tobacco.

Edit: it would appear they have pulled at least one of the naughty suspects out of the woods, about half a K from where I was meandering  It's an exciting life innit.

You are a lucky man. Imagine if your dog had gone all fox hound on their ass! You would've been in a world of pain then!

Or you could've had a really interesting conversation with them

"G'day hows it going?"

"Good thanks!"

"Been up to much?"

Just killed some fella downtown."

"Cool, how was that? I've always wanted to know."

Followed by a quick exit...

Whilst I admit I have the odd moments of excitement you can rest assured, 99.9% of the time, my life is as mind numbingly boring as the next man's and I am just an amateur living in Fat Max's large shadow when it comes to tales of the extraordinary:msn-wink:

Geeze MB, just as well they did not see you!

True True, being in blissful ignorance of their crimes ,as I was, chances are they would have got more of a fright stumbling across me and the stinky pupster  although I'm not sure I like the cut of your jib, good job I luffs ya.
