Cruising and overloaded in NZ

i just found a couple of pic's from way back,80's.
a mate and i went to auck see dire straits from hawkes bay,2 up
then a bit of a tikitour afterwards for a couple of weeks.
the poor old cb400/four.

haha,i just remembered,
halfway down the para's the 10mm ss homemade packrack started lo lean back from the windage.
my pillion had to hold it uprightish till we got to the next town.
there we got a coupla bungee cords that held it together for the next 500 odd k's
