Painting costs?

hey guys. I am wondering roughly what one can expect to pay for a one colour paint job on a fully faired bike, so tank, side and front fairing. (91 cbr)
just after a ballpark figure if i went to a professional. Not after fancy metallicy paint, just a nice red.
ZConversely, what could I expect to pay for the materials to do it myself? I have access to a complete set of spray equipment, but dunno if I wanna do it myself and risk fucking it up..
any advice/info appreciated!

does that include a tail section, front guard and belly pan?
if you were to go one straight colour (no pearls candys ect) and the parts are in good nick and all stickers removed i'd allow $600 to $800

Assuming you're asking me not tigertim, yes. Tank, front guard, belly pan, tail. Can't find the quote now but pretty sure it was around $700. No idea how much the paint is or how practical to do it myself as I have no experience spraying things. But hey, how hard can it be?

I have access to a complete set of spray equipment, but dunno if I wanna do it myself and risk fucking it up..Remember, you can always sand it off and start again. You'll never get any better untill you get some experience. Experience often comes from/with making mistakes.
