Hi there. I hope you folk don't mind me creating this account to make this thread.

I'm looking to sell this bike an old flatmate abandoned when he returned home to the US. Basically I just want to get an idea of how much this might sell for before listing in on TradeMe (unless of course someone makes an offer I can't refuse.)

It hasn't been registered since 1983 from the stickers on the back. Also, the guy came off it on the beach which is where he typically rode it, which means the front light is on the piss and the front guard is cracked so that'll have to be plastic welded.

Otherwise as far as I could tell it's in good working order. I am only guessing it's a 1976 model due to the colour and lack of tachometer.

I'd say it'd be worth about $200

If it goes I would pay $200 mainly as that model was the second bike of my school days

Ridden on the beach usually chews out the chain, bearings ... motor (unless the filter is a dam good one)

Catch phrase ... it DOES get in .....

I ended up selling this on TradeMe a few weeks back. Got $400 for if I recall correctly.
