Anyone like the concept? Anyone hate it?

If you did one closer to wellington I would give it a go.

Though if you had one with mountain running instead of mountain biking would be best for me

Thank you my friend!! We could consider one closer depending on whether or not this one takes off. I was reading the forums and everyone was complaining of running cos they had bung knees hence the wheels instead!!

i think a 50k mountainbike would kill most of the people that use the offroad forum lol, a few years ago i did a race were you had to do a 5k run with all you riding gear on then ride a 3 hour enduro. a few people didnt make it to the bike lol

i think most of the people would be more interested in the motorbike only races
i emailed you about this Jessica,

i believe that there a mountain bike race in the morning, for all the classes using a mountain bike, then after lunch is the motorbike race, for all classes using a motorbike, and there are a few classes. all the fusion classes, then the motorbike only, either a 50k or a 100k race. its a 25k loop and you do it twice or four times. im not sure if its the same loop as the mountain bikers use.
if i was to do this, it would either be as a school team so i dont have to mountain bike, or just the 100k motorbike race.

Thanks - I emailed you back yesterday :-)
It's pretty much the same loop, with a few differences that were for specifically the mountain bike or motorbike in each lap. Thanks for your comments

Could be more fun than that triple cross...... Hmm......

Im pretty keen the tripple cross was just a bit to many things
the gap between the mountainbike and motorbike ride sounds pretty good as is having it on a staurday which means not having to drive home tired and late on a sunday sort gear etc then get up and go to work early the next day

is this a mnz event? paying for a day licence on top of the entry fees would put it over what I would be prepared to pay with the priceing stucture. I'm not really fit enough to do a 50km mountainbike ride then the motorbike section so wouldn't be doing one of the fusion classes

Hey,
We thought we'd attract more by not killing everyone with too much before we get the motorbiking underway. This is NOT a MNZ event so the fee to ride will be the ONLY thing you will be charged for, no day licences etc. Would love to see you down here, the more people our first year, the better chance we have of making this an annual event!!
