I went on the cruise with the guys today... well done Faint for organising it...

anyways, the view was beautiful so my eyes were busy looking at the hills and didnt see a corner coming... when i realised it it was too late so i hit on the brake and went wide onto the gravel.. and yep, u guessed it, i fell  i feel pretty gutted coz i've only had the bike for about a month... but i find it pretty funny as well though coz i thought i'll never drop my bike.

There wasnt much damage to the bike... only a few scratches and cracks here and there on the fairing and i only have a couple of scratches on my elbow and knee... its all good, i'm looking forward to the next ride with the guys.

Thanks for those who stoped and helped me when i fell cant really remember who helped coz i was in a bit of shock... but thanks anyway u guys are great. :niceone:

Awwwwwwww...... the wittle fella had his furwst bin.... ooo soo cute......

Soon you'll grow up and get more experienced and have spectacular highsides like Rossi...... or not......

Nice to see you're still positive though. Good effort that mate, take it as a learning experience.

You are very lucky the damage isn't too significant. Somebody will post your beautiful photos of your bike later.! I nearly dropped mine getting off to see if you were ok. I left it on the hill and it started moving backwards, luckly i caught it in time before it rolled down the hill.

You did well today. Keep it up :) :msn-wink:

Word to the wise. Crashing is NEVER funny   . It's the ultimate uncool. The idea is to stay on the bike  - remember, black squishy bits down, pink squishy bits up, always .

But i'm glad that you're OK, and no major damage to your wheel. And don't let it hit your confidence - get back out as soon as possible.

Oh, and when riding a bike you can never afford to lose concentration - no matter how nice the view is. Stop if you want to admire the view, when you're riding the road is what you must watch

i had my jacket and gloves on... i landed sideways, my bike went into the small bank on the side of the road. the gravel ripped through the forearm part of the jacket, missed the elbow pad (bugger!) and i only had jeans on so yeah...
