Has anyone on here ever done the Graduate Diploma in Secondary Teaching, specifically part time?

I've been offered a place for this year at Training College (yeah, never too old to train...) but I have no idea what to expect as, out of necessity, I have to do it part time over 2 years. It's meant to be a fulltime 1 year course, but I can't afford to not work for a year - and pay college fees!!

I'm really lucky in that my job can be quite flexible in terms of when I do my hours (one of the many benefits of being an itinerant) but I am keen to hear from anyone else who has done it. (Preferably subjects which had to be done at Epsom campus as opposed to MIT etc.).

Thanks!
